Abstract

The distribution and synonymy of Brachystelma blepharanthera H. Huber. B. circinatum E. Mey. and B. dinteri Schltr. are discussed in the light of material recently available. New names include a new combination: B. stenoplyllum (Schltr.) R. A. Dyer (Siphonoslelma stenophyllum Schltr.) and three new species: B. cupulatum R. A. Dyer from South West Africa, B. tenue R. A. Dyer and B. vahrmeijeri R. A. Dyer, both from Natal.
